Submission Guidelines

Important Notice:
GrimeJournal is currently completing all legal, academic, and compliance formalities required for accepting scholarly submissions. Until these formalities are fully completed, the website will NOT accept any manuscripts. A formal announcement will be made once submissions officially open.

GrimeJournal welcomes high-quality, original academic work that contributes significantly to knowledge, policy, theory, and social advancement. The journal maintains a rigorous peer-review process and upholds the highest standards of ethical research, academic integrity, and editorial transparency.

1. Types of Submissions Accepted

The journal accepts a wide range of academic manuscripts, including:

3. Manuscript Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Size: 12 pt (main text), 10 pt (footnotes)
  • Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Referencing Style: APA / MLA / Bluebook (Authors may choose; consistency required)
  • Word Count: 3000–8000 words (Research Articles)
  • File Format: MS Word (.docx) only
  • Images/Tables: Must be clearly labelled and cited

4. Plagiarism Policy

GrimeJournal follows a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening before review.

  • Maximum similarity allowed: 10% (excluding bibliography)
  • Self-plagiarism, duplicate submissions, or previously published work is not accepted
  • Authors must ensure all citations are accurate and complete

5. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to GrimeJournal undergo a multi-level review process:

  • Level 1: Editorial Screening – quality, relevance, structure
  • Level 2: Plagiarism Check
  • Level 3: Double-Blind Peer Review
  • Level 4: Author Revisions
  • Level 5: Final Approval by the Editorial Board

6. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

  • Ensure originality and proper citation
  • Avoid data fabrication or manipulation
  • Disclose conflicts of interest
  • Confirm that manuscript is not under review elsewhere
  • Obtain permissions for copyrighted material

7. Fees & Publication Charges

The journal will announce its fee policy (if any) only after legal formalities are completed. At present, the journal does not accept any payments or submissions.

8. Legal Compliance Notice

Until compliance processes, registrations, and academic protocols are finalised, GrimeJournal will not accept or process any manuscript submissions. Once completed, submission guidelines, fees (if applicable), and contact details will be posted clearly on the homepage.
